Project Conversations

August and September 2025: The meta-project is conducting individual meetings with all funded projects. The aim is to exchange information and share experiences. The discussions also explore how the meta-project can support the projects through its research syntheses and how, by bringing together the projects and their respective areas of relevance, robust conclusions can be drawn for the broader thematic and research field.

Research Day

On July 31, 2025, the meta-project presented its work at the Research Day at FAU Erlangen–Nuremberg. During a poster session, Heike Ziegler and Elvira Dukart showcased their research syntheses on participatory research and the promotion of self-efficacy. The event provided an opportunity to share insights, establish connections, and engage in interdisciplinary exchange on methodological and thematic issues.

Meta-Project Retreat in Göttingen

On July 3–4, 2025, the four subprojects of the meta-project came together for a working retreat to discuss initial findings and the current status of their research activities. The exchange was based on several literature reviews covering the topics of participatory research, conditions for successful innovation, and the effects of language-focused interventions in STEM education.

Networking at the Project Level

On June 25, staff from the funded projects met online for their first exchange. Organized by the meta-project “Coordination and Conditions for Success,” the meeting focused on current progress, early achievements, and next steps. Participants found the discussion highly productive. Similar meetings will be held every two to three months, each with a different thematic focus.
October 2024: The first subprojects receive their funding approval.
November 2024: The collaborative projects are informed about the meta-project.
